Getting the Most Out of Your NoSQL DB

Many IT directors are failing to get the optimum performance from their infrastructure. So we’ve been conducting a number of benchmarking studies to see to how this can be improved.
Our product manager Alex Bordei presented the findings on an O’Reilly webcast which was hosted by O’Reilly’s Chief Data Scientist and Director of Content Strategy for Data, Ben Lorica, a true big data luminary.

The webcast was excellent! Alex gave us some precious findings of his work on Bigstep. I do think the same: scaling has very much to do with performance and performance is linked to money.

Thanks for the webcast! Really interesting insights on NoSQL dbs and especially on scaling.

I’m a data scientist from Brazil, quite interested in methodologies in Big Data technologies, and liked a lot the presentation on the Bigstep’s infrastructurewithout using virtualization, so allowing a considerable increase in performance for bulk processing data. It’s how I think it is necessary to do, too! Bigstep is definitely in my scenario of Big Data, the webcast was excellent. Thanks for the opportunity!
